
Dr. Kofi Asiedu is a medical practitioner with over thirty years experience in both public and private practice. Dr. Kofi Asiedu previously worked with SIC Insurance Company Limited where he helped to set up, nurture and manage the SIC Clinic (Bob Freeman clinic) as the first Medical Director from 1986 until 2013 when he took a voluntary exit. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He also has an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. In addition, Dr. Kofi Asiedu has a Health Administration Certificate from GIMPA and an MBA in Health Administration and Management from the University of Ghana.
Dr. Asiedu was also a part time lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Administration and Management of the University of Ghana Business School from 2001 to 2013. He serves as an Occupational Health Consultant to Port Medical Centre (Port Clinic) Tema. He is the immediate past president of the Ghana Association of Quasi Government Health Institutions (GAQHI) and a member of the Ghana Medical Association. Dr. Kofi Asiedu is a seasoned medical practitioner with many years of experience in clinical medicine, workplace health and safety as well as health systems administration and management.
